A wave of pride and responsibility swept through Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ujjain, as it celebrated the much-anticipated Investiture Ceremony on 16 April 2025, officially installing the new Student Council. The grand occasion stood as a testimony to the school’s unwavering dedication to fostering leadership, discipline, and character among its students.
The day commenced with the ceremonial welcome of the Chief Guest, Mr. Hitesh Patil, Station In-Charge of Chiman Ganj Mandi Police Station. A soulful prayer song and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp created an ambiance of solemnity and spiritual grace. The hoisting of the school flag and a powerful rendition of the Carmel Anthem instilled a sense of patriotism and unity.
Honorable Principal Dr. Sister Kripa Maria inspired the gathering with her heartfelt address, reminding the young leaders of the importance of service, sincerity, and integrity. The atmosphere turned reverent as the student leaders took their oaths of responsibility, pledging to uphold the values of Carmel. The synchronized March Past and the joyous Congratulations Song added vibrant energy to the event.

In his address, the Chief Guest stressed the importance of teamwork, honesty, and commitment in leadership. The ceremony also witnessed the felicitation of academic achievers with the Proficiency Award .Parents also witnessed the ceremony, adding to the joy and pride of the occasion The March Past winner was Shalom House, with Lumen House as the Runner-up. The Discipline Award was also bagged by Shalom House, with Lumen House as the Runner-up.
A mesmerizing cultural dance performance brought rhythm and color to the stage, beautifully reflecting Carmel’s artistic spirit.The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem. Principal Dr. Sister Kripa Maria congratulated the entire council, wishing them great success and wisdom in their leadership journey.
