Bagless Day Celebration – KG 2

To promote experiential learning and joyful education, a Bagless Day was organized for KG 2 students on 5th April 2025. The day was filled with fun and engaging activities that allowed children to explore, create, and enjoy learning in a stress-free environment.

The little ones were excited as they arrived without their school bags, stepping into a world of creativity and imagination. The day began with free play and music and movement exercises to energize the children and create a cheerful atmosphere.

Fun Activities Included:

Story Time: Teachers narrated interactive stories with  props, sparking imagination and language development.

Art & Craft Corner: Children participated in creative craft work using paper, colors, and other materials.

Game Zone: Simple indoor games such as  'Passing the Ball' added excitement and encouraged teamwork.

One of the highlights of the day was the Orange Peel and paste Activity, where each child was given an orange. They explored the texture, color, and fragrance of the fruit, and enjoyed peeling it with the help of teachers. This sensory activity was not only fun but also helped in enhancing fine motor skills and curiosity about healthy eating habits. The joy on their faces while tasting the juicy orange was a delightful sight!

The Bagless Day was a wonderful experience for both children and teachers. It reinforced the idea that learning can be playful and meaningful, even without books and bags.
