Carmel
Convent Senior Secondary School, Ujjain, observed Constitution Day with great
enthusiasm and reverence on 26th November 2024. The day marked the adoption of
the Indian Constitution in 1949 and highlighted its significance in fostering
the democratic values of the nation.
The celebrations began with a
special morning assembly. The Preamble
to the Constitution was read aloud by the students reaffirming their commitment
to uphold constitutional principles.
The program also featured an
engaging skit highlighting constitutional history depicting fundamental rights
and duties, and a thought-provoking quotes on democracy and its challenges.
Principal Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria
addressed the gathering, urging students to become responsible citizens who
contribute positively to the nation's progress. She emphasized the importance
of adhering to the values enshrined in the Constitution.
The
event, coordinated by the Social Science Club under the guidance of mentors Sanjiv Sir and Swati Ma’am left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring
them to embrace the values of the Constitution and deepening their
understanding of India's rich constitutional heritage
