Bharat Diwas with great enthusiasm. The event marked the planting of saplings
in the school premises, cleaning solid wastes outside railway station at Ujjain
, and managing the garbage on the road near the school, aligning with the
mission to create a greener and cleaner environment. Honorable Principal Dr.
Sr. Kripa Maria and class teachers of class XII actively participated alongside
the students, setting an inspiring example.
The school took a proactive step in promoting cleanliness and
hygiene by involving teachers and the entire staff in making the educational
institution garbage-free. This collective effort emphasized the importance of
cleanliness and sanitation.
'Bachcho Ka, Bachcho Ke Liye, Bachcho Dwara' is a campaign to
promote healthy, hygienic practices in schools, homes and in the community with
the slogan of “Pehle Safai, Phir Padhai”.
The Swachh Bharat Diwas program was a reflection of Carmel
Convent School's commitment to Mahatma Gandhi's vision of a clean and healthy
nation. Such initiatives in educational institutions not only instill a sense
of responsibility in students but also contribute to the larger goal of a
Swachh Bharat (Clean India). Carmel Convent School's dedication to this noble
cause serves as a shining example for other educational
