A STRONG STEP TOWARDS SWATCH BHARAT

According to The Government of India, Ministry of Education, Department of School Education and Literacy; On 2nd October in connection with the Swachh Bharat Diwas (SBD) program Carmel Convent School celebrated Swachh Bharat Diwas with great enthusiasm. The event marked the planting of saplings in the school premises, cleaning solid wastes outside railway station at Ujjain , and managing the garbage on the road near the school, aligning with the mission to create a greener and cleaner environment. Honorable Principal Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria and class teachers of class XII actively participated alongside the students, setting an inspiring example.

The school took a proactive step in promoting cleanliness and hygiene by involving teachers and the entire staff in making the educational institution garbage-free. This collective effort emphasized the importance of cleanliness and sanitation.

'Bachcho Ka, Bachcho Ke Liye, Bachcho Dwara' is a campaign to promote healthy, hygienic practices in schools, homes and in the community with the slogan of “Pehle Safai, Phir Padhai”.
