On August 29, 2023, Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School organized a combined event featuring a tree plantation activity and a rakhi-making competition under the guidance of Rev. Sr. Grace Tom the pre-primary headmistress, in the presence of the Principal Rev. Sr. Kripa. The event was a bagless day, encouraging the students to actively participate in environmental and creative activities. The Students contributed their best, bringing varieties of saplings specially flower plants, and medicinal plants, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.

Simultaneously, a Rakhi-making competition took place on the same day. Students brought materials from home to create unique and artistic Rakhis. This not only showcased their creativity but also provided an opportunity for cultural expression.

The event aimed to promote both environmental awareness and creativity among the students, fostering a holistic learning experience.
