On 15th August, Carmel Convent School commemorated Independence Day with a solemn prayer service by the students of grade 8", India of my Dreams" reaffirming our nation's unity and freedom.

This celebration at our school was a splendid display of patriotism and unity. The event began with the unfurling of the flag by the chief guest, Reverent Father Dr. Manoj Parackal, Rector of Ruhalaya Major seminary accompanied by Honourable Principal Dr.Sr. Kripa Maria. The event was followed by a moving prayer service by the students of grade 8. The event commenced with patriotic songs and hymns, invoking a sense of pride and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
