A Wonderful Interactive Experience for a New Beginning

"The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles; but to irrigate deserts."

15th and 16th of June were the days when the staff of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School had the golden opportunity to have a very experienced, knowledgeable and updated resource person Mr Edmund Dantise, a well-known CBSE trainer and experienced principal, to enlighten us on the "new pedagogical and curricular structure" according to the national Educational policy NEP 2020. At the very outset, Mrs Leena Aeondekar introduced the resource person who has accomplished 586 seminars and workshops across the country and abroad thorough online and offline platforms.  A warm welcome was accorded to the resource person by our principal.

On the first day of the Seminar, teachers updated themselves on the foundation level preparatory level, middle level, and secondary level in detail. On the 15th of June we addressed the Innovative pedagogy reforms in exams on secondary level, SQUAA and the "art-integrated pedagogy", based on CBSE circulars and manuals.

On the 16th of June he mainly dealt with the specific pedagogies used at the different stages for different subjects. Nearly 30 methods were discussed over the period of 8 hours. All in all the two days were invigorating and reenergizing for us all. The staff was indebted to the principal Doctor Sister Kripa for organising such an enriching and refreshing workshop. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Ruchi Sharma. A wonderful question answer session was the highlight of the two days
