On 15th July, Carmel Convent
Senior Secondary School, Kamed celebrated Carmel Day, which is the School
Day. Class 8C, showcased the rich
heritage and values of the Carmelite Order through various performances and speeches.
The celebration featured a well
depicted skit, vibrant dances and melodious songs. The atmosphere was filled with joy and
reverence as the school community came together to celebrate Carmel's heritage.
A significant highlight of the
day was the felicitation of meritorious students who excelled in the XII and X
CBSE board exams. These students were awarded the prestigious Chavara Euphrasia
Scholarship, recognizing their hard work and dedication. The awards ceremony
was a moment of pride for the entire school community.
The principal Honourable Dr Sr.
Kripa Maria addressed the students and teachers, extending heartfelt
congratulations to the high achievers and expressing immense pride in their
accomplishments. In her speech, she motivated all students to continue striving
for excellence and to keep the Carmel banner flying high.
The celebration continued with
staff wishing the sisters on this auspicious day, presenting a short cultural
program, and enjoying a sumptuous lunch arranged by the management.
