The Investiture
Ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary
School was held on April 20, 2024, marking a significant milestone as student
leaders assumed their roles with pride and commitment. The ceremony, graced by
Shri PL Sharma District Sports Officer of Ujjain, witnessed the dawn of new
responsibilities and the official investiture of school leaders.
The
event commenced with the School Band welcoming the esteemed Chief Guest,
followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp for divine blessings. Dr.
Sister Kripa Maria, the Principal, extended a warm floral welcome to the Chief
Guest. Under his auspices, the newly elected leaders were conferred upon badges
and the cabinet took oaths of office, symbolizing dedication to uphold the
values of the institution.
Furthermore,
the senior and junior cabinet members and ministers for various departments
were sworn in, aiming to enhance the working of academic, scientific, athletic,
and cultural clubs within the school.

During
his address, Hon’ble Chief Guest Pl Sharma emphasized the virtues of obedience,
loyalty, and dedication in effective leadership. He also urged parents to
actively support and guide their children in their leadership roles. Principal
Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria commended the students and parents for their preparedness
to embrace responsibility, encouraging them to excel in their designated roles.
The
ceremony highlighted the school's values through a commendable march past by
the students, accompanied by the school band. Proficiency awards were presented
by Principal Dr. Kripa Maria to deserving students, recognizing their
outstanding achievements.
In a
delightful addition, a captivating dance performance added a touch of
entertainment and artistic flair to the event, preceding the vote of thanks
proposed by the School Captain.
The ceremony concluded
with the rendition of the National Anthem, echoing the spirit of unity and
pride among the school community. The Investiture Ceremony at Carmel School was
a resounding success, symbolizing the beginning of a new era of leadership and
responsibility.
