26th JANUARY 2017:REPUBLIC DAY 68 the Republic Day was celebrated in the premises of CARMEL CONVENT SR. SEC. School with full enthusiasm, solemnity and grandeur. School Principal Sr. Pavithra unfurled the National Flag. The school parade offered a grand salute to the tricolor and National Anthem echoed the surroundings filling each and every heart with pride. On this very auspicious occasion a Prayer Service was organized by the students of class VIIIA and VIIIB embellished with various aspects and facts related to Nationalism and importance of our Indian Constitution which was displayed through dances, songs and small acts. The school choir presented melodious patriotic songs. Respected Principal Sr. Pavithra in her address extended her wishes to the students and teachers and urged the students to do their best to enhance the glory of their motherland and feel proud to be Indian.

The students dispersed after distribution of sweets taking within their hearts the beautiful memories of the event.
