Secondary School, Ujjain, celebrated Grandparents' Day with a heartfelt tribute
to family bonds and cherished traditions. The event was graced by Chief Guest
Mar Sebastian Vadekkal, Bishop of Ujjain, Guest of Honour Shri Anil Kumar
Purohit ji, Retd. Dy. SP and led by Honourable Principal Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria. The
celebration opened with a warm welcome by the school band, followed by a prayer
song and the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Students from kindergarten to
Class 2 captivated the audience with lively performances, including
retro-themed dances and a poignant dance drama that paid tribute to cherished
family moments and the spirit of Mother Teresa. The event was further enlivened
by fun games that saw enthusiastic participation from the grandparents, adding
a joyful touch to the occasion. In his address, the Bishop commended the
school's dedication to fostering family values, while the Principal expressed
deep gratitude to grandparents for their unwavering love and support. The event
concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem, leaving
everyone with a renewed sense of the enduring legacy of love.
